Grooming for Green is the new trend in haircare. According to Michaela Peck, Datamonitor Consumer Survey shows that widespread environmental concerns are driving the sustainability/ethics agenda in the haircare industry. Statisfic show that most consumers are receptive to natural beauty brands that include the follwoing claims: NATURAL, NO-CHEMICALS and include BOTANICALS. As the demand grows for natural products, so does consumers knowledge. It’s great to hear that brands are engaging end consumers in their reseach and development stages of producing natural haircare from production to product positioning. Sustainable companies are now sharing product innovations via social media platforms. Good stylist listen to their clients. We’re seeing an increase in natural haircare ingredients in all categories: hair color, styling, shampoo and conditioners. The biggest increase is in men’s grooming products. Consumers now have more options. INOA by L’Oreal is a great options for haircolor as well as Davines.
